Some of my Favorite Resources

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE to share things that I, well, love. Especially when it comes to good resources to help with growing in your walk with the Lord. This is not a promotional post, but I wanted to compile a list of resources that I have found immensely helpful to my own spiritual walk, and I hope that they will help you as well.

  • The About Her Podcast hosted by Abigail O’Neel: This podcast seeks to help women understand their biblical calling and to equip them to live lives that are honoring to the Lord in their unique roles. This podcast has been extremely helpful to me, recently. Through it, I’ve come to a new understanding of what biblical womanhood looks like as well as how to practically live out my faith in my day-to-day life.

  • The Daily Grace Co Podcast: This podcast seeks to help women grow in their understanding of God’s Word. Each episode is unique and covers a wide variety of topics that seek to help women grow in their love for the Lord.

  • Risen Motherhood: This podcast is geared towards mothers, but I also find it helpful as they talk about how to serve and seek the Lord in even the most mundane tasks of everyday life.

  • The Daily Grace Co: this company has myriad of devotionals and bible study tools that I will refer anyone to. They have topical studies as well as studies on books of the Bible. Their studies encourage deeper understanding of the Bible, not just spoon fed information (which I find is sometimes hard to get in a devotional). Not to mention their designs are gorgeous. They have studies for men, women, and children of all ages.

  • Wholehearted Quiet Time: This company sells quiet time journals, which I have been using for the past few months. This journal is the pocket knife of journals. It’s divided into tabbed sections for topics like prayer requests, sermon notes, prayer lists, a Bible reading plan, and the journal section. Each journal page is divided into space for the date, the passage you’re reading, a note section, space to write what you’re thankful for, a space for prayer, and a section for what you want to hold on to from your devotion. I LOVE this notebook.

  • Crossway’s 12-week book of the Bible studies (any of them, but I’ve been going through the one on Philippians): These books offer a chance to dig deep into a book of the Bible of your choice. It gives background, a section of questions to help you understand the passage, as well as gospel glimpses, how the passage related to the whole of scripture, and theological ideas.

  • Desiring God: I use this whenever I have questions about current events. Anytime a person asks me a question I don’t know the answer to, Desiring God is one of the first places (after reading my Bible) I go to to find help. They have articles on so many different topics.

  • Grace to You: this is a great place to find sermons on almost any passage of scripture you’re studying. John MacArthur’s books, articles and sermons have played a huge role in my walk with the Lord.
